Revolutionizing Cancer Care with Indigenous Medical LINAC Technology

Technology Development Board has helped commercialize an indigenous technology by extending financial assistance to M/s Panacea Medical Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Bengaluru, for the implementation of the project “Commercialization & Setting up of manufacturing line for indigenous Medical LINAC” aimed at developing an indigenous CBCT radiotherapy system for cancer treatment in collaboration with Society for Advanced Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), Mumbai. As originally conceptualized and approved by TDB, the project was aimed at setting-up the manufacturing facility of the LINAC machine. The project has now been expanded to include indigenous manufacturing of LINAC tubes in the LINAC machine.
