TeleMedC, an Australia-based leader in artificial intelligence (AI)-powered retinal disease diagnostics is expanding its footprint in India, through a strategic partnership with Mumbai-based startup AND Healthcare Solutions to deliver low-cost, AI-driven eye screening solutions to millions. The move aims to tackle the growing burden of preventable eye diseases by enabling early detection and intervention.

Through its AI-powered technology, the company enables early detection of conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular diseases, helping to prevent vision impairment and blindness.

Supported by Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), the Queensland Government’s global business agency, TeleMedC and AND Healthcare Solutions will roll out advanced eye imaging and AI-powered diagnostics across India. This initiative is poised to strengthen India’s healthcare innovation ecosystem, making critical eye care more affordable and accessible to all.

TeleMedC aims to screen one billion eyes over the next decade, driving early detection, disease prevention, and affordable access to advanced diagnostics. The company is actively partnering with Indian healthcare institutions, research bodies, and non-profits to accelerate innovation in eye health.

Recently, TeleMedC collaborated with leading Indian healthcare institutions, including Aravind Eye Hospital, through the Australia-India Strategic Research Fund. This partnership is advancing AI-driven eye health solutions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to cutting-edge diagnostics.

Expanding its impact, TeleMedC is working with SMEs and large corporations to integrate AI-powered eye screening into Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, making preventive healthcare more inclusive in India.
